How do you make space in microsoft word.?

how do you get to where you can make things double spaced in microsoft word i need to double space my essay but i dont want it to be exactly double spaced just a little less because if i double space it then it will be too many pages but if i can make it like .5 spaced or something it will look double spaced and it will fit on the two pages we are allowed. thanks

Make your spacing 1.5 (1-1/2) spacing. Go to Format, paragraph. You'll see the option for spacing there.
